The purpose of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) Special Interest Group SIGEL is to foster computationally grounded research in all useful aspects in documenting, processing, revitalizing and supporting endangered languages, as well as minority, Indigenous and low-resource languages.

SIGEL believes that work on endangered languages should be done in support of community goals and informed by Indigenous perspectives on linguistics and language technology. To that end, and to help researchers who are not already part of such conversations, we have collected some pointers to resources in this Zotero library.
